Approved by Energy and Mineral Resource Division (EMRD) on 02-02-2017 Contract Agreement has been signed with a consortium of MIBRAG Consulting International GmbH, Germany, FUGRO Consult GmbH, Germany (Present FUGRO Germany Land GmbH) & Runge Pincock Minarco Limited, Australia dated on 30 May 2017. Phyical works has been started on 01-06-2017. 27 months 01 June 2017 31st August 2019 The main objective of the study is to conduct exploration at Dighipara coal basin to confirm the deposit 865 million metric tons of coal within around 24 sq.km area as identified by BAPEX using 2D high resolution seismic survey.
